Happy Town

Happy Town is set in a small town in Minnesota. But don't be fooled by the "small town" description – there's going to be a lot of creepiness in this show, which is said to be a throwback to the Twin Peeks type of small town drama.

The show will play like a police procedural, with two detectives investigating cases and trying to determine whether their clients are being influenced by their past lives.

Spartacus

It sounds like Gladiator meets Rome with Starz's new midseason epic drama, Spartacus: Blood and Sand. A period piece set in ancient Rome, Spartacus focuses on Rome's famous warrior. But don't be fooled, it's not all blood and sand. There's also ancient politics, corruption and fame. All the kick-ass things in life, wrapped up in a pretty toga.
